UAW tentatively accepts GM offer
The United Auto Workers labour union has tentatively accepted a new contract offer from General Motors. Union members will remain on their picket lines however until it is reviewed by the UAW-GM National Council, Kallanish reports.
The agreement was reached Wednesday and put before the council on Thursday, according to a union letter to its members.
