UAW strikes end after deals with Stellantis, GM

Detroit automakers Stellantis and General Motors (GM) have individually reached tentative contract agreements with the United Auto Workers union, ending strike action against the automakers in the US. Following roughly six weeks of targeted striking, the UAW was able to reach a tentative deal with Stellantis on 28 October and GM on 30 October.
