UAE mills reiterate local rebar sourcing calls
United Arab Emirates’ steel producers have reiterated calls for the country’s traders to source rebar from local mills rather than importing large tonnages from Turkey.
This came during the first meeting of UAE producers during the “Magnet” forum, set up by Dubai-based re-roller Conares to give producers the chance to discuss and disseminate insights on the steel industry.
