UAE mills raise rebar prices on cost pressure
Abu-Dhabi Emirates Steel has increased its rebar price for January deliveries to the domestic market by a whopping AED 311.50/tonne ($85) on-month to AED 2,295.50/t ($625). The move is purely cost driven, according to most sources, although two United Arab Emirates traders say demand has improved slightly.
