UAE benchmark rebar retail prices fall
Rebar retail prices in Dubai and the northern United Arab Emirates for benchmark mill – Emirates Steel – product have fallen from AED 2,330-2,350/tonne ($634-640) delivered on credit before the Eid holiday to AED 2,270-2,280/t delivered on credit.
In Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, due to protection for local producers, contractors are issuing their purchase orders at around AED 2,300/t delivered on credit for benchmark mill material.
