Tosyali’s Senegal steelworks to produce rebar, rod
Major Turkish steelmaker Tosyali says its prospective Senegal steelworks will cost nearly $200 million and produce rebar and wire rod at an annual capacity of 750,000 tonnes.
“The plant will be established in Bargny-Sendou special economic zone (SEZ) and will employ 500 people and create 1,000 jobs indirectly,” Tosyali chairman Fuat Tosyali says in a statement seen by Kallanish.
