Turkish steelmakers see production sink, expect reduced exports
Turkish steelmakers expect exports to decrease gradually from the start of the second quarter due to protectionist measures being implemented worldwide, according to the Turkish Steel Producers Association (TCUD). In January-February Turkish steel capacity utilisation sunk to 60.2% from 71.9% in full-year 2018.
