Turkish steel imports resume growth in July
Turkey's steel imports rebounded in July, after two months of on-year decline, supported by flat steel intake, Kallanish notes from a statement by the Turkish Steel Producers' Association (TCUD).
In July Turkey imported 1.62 million tonnes of steel products, up 15.7% on-year and 33.9% on-month. This follows y-o-y decreases of -35% and -22.1% respectively in June and May.
