Turkish steel exports surge in April, imports slump
Turkey’s steel production rose in April, while domestic steel consumption fell, the Turkish steel producers’ association Türkiye Çelik Üreticileri Derneği (TCUD) tells Kallanish. Steel exports surged meanwhile both month-on-month and year-to-date, while imports did the opposite, falling heavily in terms of both volume and value.
