Turkish steel exports fall, imports rise in February
Turkey's steel imports increased on-year in February, while exports declined, Kallanish learns from the Turkish Steel Producers' Association (TCUD).
February's steel imports increased 10.3% y-o-y to 1.23 million tonnes and their total value grew 27.3% to $1.56 billion. Flat steel imports rose 1.4% to 626,200t and longs imports grew 15.2% to 123,300t. Semi-finished product imports went up 26.3% to 407,500t, the association informs in a state…
