Turkish steel consumption grows in November
Turkish finished steel consumption increased 4.4% on-year in November to 2.9 million tonnes, according to the Turkish Steel Producers' Association (TCUD). Eleven-month-through-November consumption rose 4% to 33mt.
As previously reported, Turkish steel product imports rose 33% in November to 1.66mt, while exports slipped -1.4% to 1.4mt (see Kallanish 4 January). Eleven-month imports, however, fell -8.1% on-year to 15mt and exports rose 9.2% to 16.67mt. Turkey…
