Turkish scrap prices remain mostly stable
Most Turkish mills have kept their domestic scrap buying prices unchanged since last week, Kallanish notes.
Imported scrap prices, meanwhile, are seen to have bottomed on two fresh deals heard on Wednesday, both from the UK.
A Marmara mill bought HMS 1&2 80:20 at $375.5/tonne and shredded and bonus at $400.5/t cfr Turkey, while another Marmara mill bought HMS 1&2 80:20 at $373/t and shredded at $398/t cfr.
