Turkish scrap market questions fresh UK deal
All Turkish mills have kept their domestic scrap buying prices unchanged since last week. Imported scrap values are seen registering improvement on a fresh booking, meanwhile.
On Wednesday, a single deep-sea booking was heard in the market. One northern mill bought a UK-origin cargo comprising 20,000 tonnes of shredded at $442/tonne cfr Turkey and 20,000t of bonus grade at the same price.
