Turkish rebar exports slump despite Romania, Ethiopia surges
Turkish rebar exports slumped -19% on-year in June to 359,324 tonnes, only slightly higher than the 2018-low tonnage registered in May, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. Their average value, however, increased to $556/tonne from $427/t in June 2017.
