Turkish mills raise domestic rebar prices

Turkish long steelmakers have increased their prices of rebar sold in the domestic market as the lira continues to depreciate against the dollar, Kallanish notes. Integrated longs maker Kardemir has lifted its rebar prices by TRY 37/tonne ($12/t) to TRY 1,172/t and TRY 1,189/t, respectively for its 12-32mm diameter rebar and 12-22mm round bar, effective 12 October.
