Weak domestic demand raises Turkish scrap price pressure
Turkish steelmakers, who remain out of the scrap import market, have now also slowed their domestic scrap buying this week. Although prices have increased on-week, the rises were mostly announced last week, following the increase in imported scrap values. This week, only a few mills have revised their buying prices.
