Turkish mills continue to raise domestic rebar prices
Turkish domestic rebar prices increased further at the beginning of the current week as some mills raised their asking prices amid rising domestic demand and input material prices, notes Kallanish.
Local scrap-based long steelmaker Icdas has raised its 12-32mm, 10mm, and 8mm diameter rebar prices each by TRY 30/tonne to TRY 2,730/t ($719/t), TRY 2,740/t and TRY 2,750/t respectively, effective 5 March. Last week Icdas lifted its rebar prices by TRY 60/t.
