Stronger euro briefly supports Turkish merchant bar exports
Turkish merchant bar producers concluded sales to their major export market, the EU, with the help of the euro strengthening against the dollar at the start of last week. However, as it depreciated again towards the end of the week, European buyers were seen to back off.
Finding demand unsatisfactory despite concluding some sales last week, Turkish merchant bar exporters have slightly decreased their prices.
