Turkish longs pricing recovers slightly amid firm scrap
The downtick that had been continuing in Turkish long steel prices for a while is seen to have halted this week while mills are testing slightly higher levels, according to market participants.
Turkish mills’ official rebar quotes on Thursday are mostly at $580-590/tonne fob Turkey actual weight, and at $590-600/t fob for mesh-quality wire rod. Each category is up $5/t from last week’s range.
