Turkish HRC drops on weak demand
Turkish hot rolled flat steel producers continue suffering from weak demand, both domestically and in exports. Weak order books have resulted in domestic producers reducing prices, market participants inform Kallanish.
At least one mill was reported considering planned maintenance in June for a week or two, and others may follow. This is especially the case due to the Eid holiday week in June, which is expected to weigh on business activity.
