Turkish HR flats exports slump in April
Turkish hot rolled flat products exports under HS code heading 7208 fell -32% on-year in April to 201,516 tonnes, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish.
The most-exported product was HS code 720839, unpickled wide strip under 3mm thick, whose exports halved to 64,591t. Spain was the main destination with 24,103t, down -46% on-year. Supply to Portugal more than doubled to 13,994t, but shipments to Italy were only a fif…
