Turkish HDG exports slump, imports rise in April
Turkish exports of coated sheet under HS code heading 7210 fell -20% on-year in April to 76,141 tonnes, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish.
The most-exported product by far was hot-dip galvanized coil whose shipments fell -21% to 57,236t. The largest market was Spain whose intake more than doubled to 10,863t. This was followed by the US despite a -70% slump to 7,790t, and the UK with a 52% surge to 7,014t.
