Turkish flats output declines, longs exports surge
Turkish finished steel consumption fell -35.2% on-year in January-May to 10 million tonnes, according to Turkish Steel Producers Association (TCUD) data monitored by Kallanish. Finished steel output fell -21.2% to 13.7mt.
The declines compare to falls of -33.2% and -21.5% respectively in January-April.
