Turkish finished steel output, consumption rise in September
Turkey's finished steel production rose further in the nine months through September, while consumption resumed growth, after slipping in January-August, Kallanish learns from the Turkish Steel Producers' Association (TCUD).
January-September's finished steel production came in at 28.7 million tonnes, up 3.7% on-year. Long steel output fell -2.8% to 19.2mt, but flat steel production increased 19.9% to 9.4mt, TCUD says in a statement
