Turkish domestic scrap prices fall sharply
Following the decreases seen in local rebar prices as a result of weak demand and softer imported scrap prices, Turkish steel producers have reduced local scrap buying prices sharply this week.
A Turkish scrap supplier tells Kallanish: “The situation is getting worse. While we were hoping to see a correction, we have seen even sharper decreases this week.”
