Turkish domestic scrap prices decrease
Following the decreases seen in imported scrap prices, most Turkish mills have revised down their domestic scrap procurement prices, Kallanish learns from the companies' price updates.
Effective from 4 September, integrated long steelmaker Kardemir’s domestic auto-bundle (DKP) scrap buying price is at TRY 1,880/t ($331). Scrap-based peer Kroman Celik’s price for the same grade is at TRY 1,455/t.
