Steel production in Turkey rises further in November
Turkey's crude steel output continued to increase in November, solely driven by rising EAF-based output, Kallanish learns from the Turkish Steel Producers' Association (TCUD).
Turkey produced 3.11 million tonnes of crude steel in November, up 7% on-year and up 5.8% on-month. Scrap-based production increased 16.2% y-o-y but iron ore-based production decreased -11.7%, the association says in a statement, without providing volume figures.
