Turkish consumption, output declines slow in April
Turkish finished steel consumption slumped -33.2% on-year in January-April to 7.9 million tonnes, according to Turkish Steel Producers Association (TCUD) data monitored by Kallanish. Finished steel output fell -21.5% to 10.7mt.
The declines slowed compared to the first quarter when consumption and production fell -38.7% and -25% respectively.
