Tosyali orders second Quantum EAF for flats mill
Turkey’s Tosyali has placed an additional order with Primetals to supply a second “Quantum” electric arc furnace with a capacity of 2 million tonnes/year of liquid steel. The contract also includes the expansion of production capacity of a recently ordered two-strand slab caster to 3.4m t/y.
The new order follows an order placed in 2020.
