Turkey’s Tosyali builds new wire rod plant
Turkish steel producer Tosyali’s application for an environmental impact assessment for its new wire rod plant in Iskenderun has been approved by the Turkish Ministry of Environment and Urbanisation.
Construction of the facility with an annealing furnace of 937,500 tonnes/year capacity and a wire rod rolling mill with 900,000 t/y capacity is expected to finish in 18 months’ time. Its economic life is planned to be approximately 30 years, Kallanish note…
