Turkey’s Tosyalı acquires Bastug Metallurgy
Tosyalı Group has acquired Bastug Metallurgy, the long steelmaker says.
Although Tosyalı Holding has denied the acquisition, Bastug confirmed in a statement sent to its business partners that Bastug Metallurgy will be acquired by the Tosyalı Group of Companies on 3 July.
“For this reason, our layoffs have been stopped. Detailed information will be provided in the following days,” Bastug says in the statement seen by Kallanish.
