Turkey's steel imports pick up again in June
Turkey's steel product imports increased 10.8% year-on-year to 1.84 million tonnes in June, following a decline in May. The value of June's imports totalled $1.12 billion, up 3.1% on-year, the Turkish Steel Producers' Association (TCUD) states.
June's imports of semi steel products rose 10.1% y-o-y to 772,000t, and flats imports rose 12.9% to 790,000t, TCUD informs in a statement monitored by Kallanish.
