Turkish steel consumption growth slows down in July
Turkey's finished steel consumption growth continued decelerating in July, bringing down the January-July growth rate to 5.2% on-year from 6.3% in the first half, the Turkish Steel Producers' Association (TCUD) says.
In the seven months through July, Turkey consumed 20.83 million tonnes of finished steel, up from 19.8mt a year earlier, the association says in a statement seen by Kallanish.
