Turkey's steel imports from China plummet in October
Turkish steel imports from China plunged -62.9% year-on-year to 133,160 tonnes in October, driven by a drop in billet imports, says the Turkish Steel Producers' Association (TCUD).
China-origin billet sourcing dipped -95.2% y-o-y to 10,600t in October, the association says in a statement seen by Kallanish.
The slump in October's imports dragged Turkey's January-October China-origin steel imports down by -7.3% to 2.16 million tonnes.
