Turkey’s Kocaer more than doubles first-half profit
Turkish sections producer Kocaer Çelik saw profit surge in the first half, Kallanish notes.
Kocaer Çelik’s sales remained almost unchanged at 269,330 tonnes in H1. Value-added products’ share of total sales fell to 34% from 41% last year. The company mainly prefers order-based production and works with a minimum stock of products and raw materials, it says.
