Turkey's Kardemir sells sizable billet at decreased price
Turkey's benchmark billet mill, Kardemir, sold around 70,000-80,000 tonnes of billet on Thursday at decreased prices, Kallanish notes.
On 27 June, Kardemir’s billet price was at $535/tonne ex-works, excluding 20% VAT, for grade S235JR, 150mm, while grade B420 was traded at $550/t ex-works, each down by $10/t compared to 30 May prices.
