Turkey's January CR flats exports to US plunge
Turkish cold-rolled (CR) flat steel exports to the US slumped on-year in January, dragging down the country's total exports for the month, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
January's exports totalled 26,159 tonnes, down -10.7% y-o-y. The overall average value of these exports increased to $1,194/t from $876/t a year earlier.
