Turkey's January automobile output grows as exports surge
Turkish passenger car production soared 61% year-on-year to 93,683 units in January as automobile exports doubled to 76,493 cars, Kallanish learns from the Turkish Automotive Manufacturers' Association (OSD) monthly report.
January's total motor vehicle production registered a more modest increase of 31% on-year to 128,121 vehicles, affected by the -13% decrease in commercial vehicle production to 34,438.
