Turkey’s Diler to halt rebar production
Diler Demir Celik has decided to halt production at its rebar rolling mill as a measure to prevent the spread of Covid-19 after some of its employees tested positive.
The steelmaker previously halted production at its meltshop and plans to restart the unit on 27 April. The rolling-mill, however, will be stopped for 14 days starting from 23 April. There will be no interruption at its wire rod rolling mill, Kallanish notes.
