Turkey's crude steel production rises further in May
Turkish crude steel output continued its year-on-year increase in May, led by scrap-based production, Kallanish learns from a statement by the Turkish Steel Producers' Association (TCUD).
Turkey produced 3.29 million tonnes of crude steel in May, up 9.7% y-o-y and 8.6% on-month. Scrap-based production increased 11.5% and integrated mills' combined output rose 5.9%, says the association.
