Turkey's crude steel output growth slows in September
Turkey’s crude steel production growth rate slowed in September, Kallanish notes from a Turkish Steel Producers' Association (TCUD) statement.
Turkey produced 2.66 million tonnes of crude steel last month, up 8.1% on-year and down -5.5% over August, TCUD says.
Electric arc furnace-based production increased 12% y-o-y to 1.72mt and integrated mills' combined output was up 1.7% to 936,000t.
