Turkey's crude steel output growth slows in February
Turkish crude steel consumption rose on-year in February, but the growth rate slowed from January, Kallanish learns from the Turkish Steel producers' Association (TCUD).
Turkey produced 2.997 million tonnes of crude steel last month, up 8.7% on-year but down -5.6% on-month. Electric arc furnace-based production increased 11.1% y-o-y and integrated mills' combined output rose 3.6%, the association informs in a statement.
