Turkey’s Çolakoğlu upgrades its vacuum degassing plant
Turkish steelmaker Çolakoğlu Metalurji A.S. (Çolakoğlu) has placed an order with Primetals Technologies to upgrade an existing vacuum degassing (VD) plant in its Dilovası meltshop to a vacuum oxygen decarburisation (VOD) plant.
