Turkey's China-origin steel imports grow sharply in H1
Turkey's steel imports from China increased 53.2% year-on-year to 1.42 million tonnes in the first half of the year, according to the Turkish Steel Producers' Association (TCUD).
The largest increase was registered in the imports of billets which saw a 613.9% on-year surge to 790,000t, TCUD notes in a statement seen by Kallanish.
