Turkey's China-origin steel imports drop in 2016
Turkey's steel imports from China decreased last year. Imports from the Asian country of semi-finished products went down, but long steel intake increased, says the Turkish Steel Producers' Association (TCUD).
Total steel procurement from China declined -21.5% on-year to 2.35 million tonnes in 2016, Sahap Ataman, economic affairs director at the association, says in a report seen by Kallanish.
