Turkey's automotive output falls, exports decline in August
Reduced exports coincided with a fall in Turkish motor vehicle (MV) production in August, reversing the trend of consecutive monthly rises since the beginning of the year, according to the Turkish Automotive Manufacturers' Association (OSD).
August's production dropped -8% year-on-year to 71,463 units, including a -4% fall in automobiles to 50,453 and -19% decrease in commercial vehicle output to 21,010, according to an OSD report.
