Turkey registers slab imports from non-producer Oman
Turkey increased slab imports by 8% in April compared to the previous year, reaching 356,727 tonnes at an average price of $571/tonne, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
This was also 13% more compared to Turkey's slab imports in March at 315,958t, and 57% more compared to the average monthly imports in 2023, at 226,501t, Kallanish notes.
