Tubacex registers sales slump on long-term strike
Tubacex, the Spanish stainless seamless tubemaker, registered a big sales slump during the first half of this year, impacted mainly by the long-term strike at it Spanish plant, ongoing since February.
Six-month sales fell 43.3% year-on-year to €160 million ($189.3m), while Ebitda was down over 98% to a mere €0.3m, Kallanish notes.
