Tsingtuo adds stainless capacity using quota system
China's Tsingtuo Group has revealed details of the steelmaking capacity quotas which it recently acquired and how it intends to use them, according to the Fujian provincial Economy & Information Technology Commission. It has decided to add 900,000 tonnes/year of crude stainless steel capacity, the group said on 7 August.
The new capacity is allowed because Tsingtuo acquired 1.08 million tonnes/year of iron and 1.21m t/y of steelmaking capacity quota…
