Tsingshan begins rolling line project construction in Indonesia
Tsingshan Group has started construction of a continuous caster on 26 May, according to contractor MCC Tiangong Group. The installation is part of Tsingshan’s 3 million tonnes/year stainless steel rolling project in Indonesia, serving one 1,780mm hot strip mill, Kallanish notes.
The announcement says that construction will take about 180 working days, and includes one 1,600mm slab caster and a 200*200mm six-strand continuous billet cast…
